I always pop this in when my hair is looking a little lacklustre and the AHA and Rosehip Oil combine to make it hair feel softer and smoother in just a few minutes. After shampooing, I add some to mid-lengths and ends that need some love, leave for five minutes, and rinse out. So easy. So, gloss-giving!
The Metal Corrector:
L'Oreal Metal Detox
The range you didn’t know you needed has arrived! L’Oreal Metal Detox protects hair against metal; the invisible aggressor found in the water we wash our hair with. A major cause of hair breakage, metal found in our water penetrates the hair, weakening the structure and creating frizzy, porous texture. To combat this, L’Oreal Metal Detox’s patented formula has been created small enough to penetrate the hair fibre, trap the metal and neutralise its effect. With a range for fine to medium hair, medium to thick hair and thick and sensitised hair, Metal Detox also envelopes hair in a delicious citrus-meets-musky wood scent.

Metal Detox Anti-Porosity Filler Pre-Shampoo Treatment is the ‘filler’ that builds up any ‘potholes’ in the hair, creating a smooth surface, effectively refilling 1 million hair micro breaks in one minute. The lightweight concentrated gel texture penetrates the hair fibre deeply, intensely moisturising hair, preparing the cuticle for cleansing.
Metal Detox Anti-Metal Cleansing Cream Shampoo is all about preventing hair breakage and colour shift by combatting the copper present in shower water which penetrates hair fibres, diluting colour. This Shampoo gentle removes the particles via a patented Glicoamine technology that is small enough to track and neutralise metal inside the hair fibre. A rich later and rinse is all it takes to do its good work! This Shampoo feels and smells amazing too.
Metal Detox Protecting Mask is ideal for all hair types, textures, and colours – even bleached hair. So efficacious is the anti-metal cleansing formula, this protective Hair Mask effectively shields the hair cuticle against copper and other metals found in water from penetrating the hair shaft and compromising colour. For best results, I comb this Mask through my hair after shampooing and towel-drying. After a minute, it can be rinsed out easily.
Metal Detox Protecting Concentrated Oil is the real deal when it comes to a pre-styling Leave-In Treatment that prevents Heat Styling damage at the deepest level. A little warmed in the palms of your hands and spread through mid-lengths and ends pre-Blowdry promises to reduce hair breakage by 97%, infuse 2% brighter colour, quadruple frizz control and protect against heat up to 230°C.
The Vitamin-Infused Varnish:

The Range:
Vitamino Color Spectrum Shampoo is the first ‘cleansing’ step in the range, created as a caring cleanser for coloured hair. With a gentle, ultra-gloss inducing formula, it helps lock in day one colour for 100 days on all coloured hair. Colour saturation is heightened with each use and brightness levels preserved making this one of my favourite Shampoo’s for hair that has been coloured countless times!
Vitamino Color Spectrum Deep Conditioner is formulated with Ferulic Acid + Citric Acid 2.5%. Sounds technical, but it’s quite simple in its delivery. By locking in dyes to the hair fibre without damage, this formulation gives added dimension, gloss, and sheen to hair colour. Shine is enriched and colour never falls flat, lasting for months without fade.
Vitamino Color Glass Shine Serum meets the brief for adding an intense, deep gleam and polish that lasts up to ten washes. This Leave-In Serum can be applied on clean, towel dried hair and I find you only need one pump at a time, smoothed through mid-lengths to ends, for best results. Drying and styling hair with a Hair Straightener or Styling Tool then locks in the lustre, delivering anti-frizz benefits for up to 72 hours and ongoing anti-fade, and anti-humidity results for up to 100 days.
